Marie Aimée Nirere is the Managing Director of FATE Consulting Ltd., where she leads the organization’s vision, strategy, and operations to ensure sustainable growth, efficiency, and impactful service delivery. In this role, she also oversees financial performance by driving revenue growth, cultivating partnerships, and optimizing resource allocation, positioning FATE Consulting as a trusted partner in delivering high-quality advisory, research, and training services.
She holds a BSc in Business Administration from Ashesi University in Ghana and is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at the Adventist University of Central Africa. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she brings expertise in project management, finance, investment research, trade policy, and inclusive program design.
She brings Pan-African project finance expertise from her work with the Mastercard Foundation, where she managed programming processes across diverse initiatives. Collaborating with partners such as UNICEF, BRAC, ESP-UNLEASH, and the AUCA Innovation Center, she ensured compliance, strengthened systems, and advanced projects, deepening her understanding of inclusive finance and program design across multiple African markets. Marie Aimée also contributed to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Trade Policy Youth Corps Program, a UNDP-funded initiative, where she served as a Procurement Unit Youth Consultant.
Her research expertise was honed at Sarpong Capital Limited in Accra, where she worked as a research analyst producing economic analyses, FX and bond market insights, and coordinated research projects that enhanced deal closures and positioned the team for CNBC interviews. She further co‑founded the Healthy_Us Project, funded by The Resolution Project, leading initiatives that established kitchen gardens and mushroom farming to benefit orphaned children at Hope for Life Ministry.
Beyond these roles, she has contributed her expertise to TheBoardroom Africa, AWEP Africa, RIM Ltd., and Oryx Energies Rwanda, broadening her impact across diverse sectors. An accomplished communicator and leader, Marie Aimée continues to position herself as a catalyst for innovation, accountability, and inclusive economic transformation across Africa. She is fluent in English, French, and Kinyarwanda.
