Yvonne Uwimana

Ms. Yvonne Uwimana, a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), has established herself as a dynamic professional in the field of research and development.

In her current role as a Research and Evaluation Analyst at FATE Consulting Ltd., Ms. Yvonne contributes to our ongoing research and evaluation projects with her expertise and experience in qualitative and quantitative research. With prior experience as a Research and Business Development Officer, Ms. Yvonne’s unique skill set combines securing new projects and providing vital support for their successful implementation.

Ms. Yvonne’s notable achievements include her involvement in the execution of the baseline evaluation of the Public Policy Information Monitoring Advocacy (PPIMA) project for the Rwanda Men Resource Center (RWAMREC), the Formative Research and Qualitative Data Collection Consultancy for Nau Consultancy on behalf of One Acre Fund (OAF) as well as the Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and Safeguarding Assessment  in the framework of the Exiting Poverty in Rwanda, a project funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and  implemented by Cowater International.

In addition to her formal education, Ms. Yvonne’s expertise is complemented by short courses including the Qualitative Research Methods by the University of Amsterdam as well as several short training programs by FATE Consulting Ltd.

Before joining FATE Consulting Ltd., Ms. Yvonne gained extensive experience as a part-time consultant with other organizations in Rwanda, where she conducted quantitative and qualitative data collection using Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) powered by Kobo Collect and Survey CTO.

Ms. Yvonne is a Rwandan citizen fluent in both English and Kinyarwanda, known for her dedication and passion to the field of research and evaluation.
